If you are coming to view the show or attend a program you will be charged a $20.00 parking fee per car. Car pool with your friends and split the cost. Parking is free under a Reciprocal Membership Program if you are a member of: Garfield Park Conservatory, George L. Luthy Memorial Botanical Garden, Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Garden, Morton Arboretum, Quad City Botanical Garden, or Washington Park Botanical Garden. Please have your membership card to show at the gatehouse.

Registration Information

Registration is needed so that we can anticipate attendance and prepare show materials for participating members. Fee for attending the Show Programs and/or Showing Plants is $5.00. Send your registrations (checks payable to IAVS) to Tom Moore, 1919 Highland Ave., Wilmette IL 60091-2359. Registrations must be received by June 15, 2010.

Menu: Either London Broil                                       with mushroom au jus and served with a baked potato or                                       Broiled Tilapia served with parsley new potatoes                                       accompanied with vegetables, a tossed green salad,                                       freshly baked rolls, and small chocolate sundae for                                       dessert. Unlimited soft drinks and coffee are included.                                       Cash Bar. Banquet $25.00 per person, tax and tip                                       included.      1:30 pm to 3:00 pm      Joyce and Kent Stork present "African Violets in Russia."                                       In August of 2009, Kent and Joyce Stork were privileged                                       to visit with African violet growers in Moscow, St.                                       Petersburg, and Kiev under the guidance of Vladimir                                       Kalgin. They will present a program about their travels,                                       the Russian growers and their challenges, and the                                       hybridizing work that is thriving there."
